Taking centre stage at the Birmingham event is the Volta Zero, the world’s first purpose-built 16-tonne electric truck designed to revolutionise urban deliveries with a next generation driving experience.

Volta Trucks remains steadfast in its mission to revolutionise urban freight transport. Essa Al-Saleh, CEO, recently outlined the company’s plans to resume production with a focus on four critical markets – UK, Germany, France and Scandinavia. Live customer trials have successfully resumed in the UK with a fleet of 15 vehicles soon available across other markets.
Essa said, “The goal is to provide first customer deliveries by year end. Our attendance at RTX 2024 is a key milestone in showcasing our return with a renewed sense of confidence and readiness to deliver on our ambitious goals.”
